Upload a Photo and Win an Amsterdam Trip

Enter to win a trip to Amsterdam with the new “Just be. In Holland” contest. Click on weekly and answer a question about Holland for a chance to win a prize that highlights a different aspect of the country.

Each week’s prize (one winner per prize) will be:

• Feb. 18: A traditional Batavus Dutch bicycle; or

• Feb.  25: A Carbon chair designed by Marcel Wanders and Bertjan Pot.

In addition to the weekly prizes, one grand prize winner will be awarded:  two round-trip, business-class tickets on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to Amsterdam and a four-night stay at the Sofitel Amsterdam The Grand. Lend an Ear to Van Gogh iPhone App

The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam is the first museum on the European Continent to have an iPhone application. The application, “Yours, Vincent,” was developed to accompany the exhibition “Van Gogh’s letters: The artist speaks,” running through Jan. 3. The application allows people with an iPhone or an iPod touch to zoom in on 120 original Van Gogh letters exhibited alongside the works that Van Gogh was writing about. “Yours, Vincent” can be downloaded free via the App Store in iTunes and is available in English and Dutch.
