Hosted by Jerry Schilling, Elvis Cruise 2010 will feature Elvis-themed entertainment, parties and activities, including music and presentations by those who knew and performed with Elvis. Elvis’ Imperials, Joe Guercio, The Memphis Boys with Bobo Moreno, Terry Mike Jeffrey, Andy Childs, and Larry Geller are scheduled to perform, along with such tribute artists as Mark Anthony, Brandon Bennett, Bill Cherry and Victor Trevino. Holland America is offering free air for cruisers who book a Verandah Suite or Deluxe Verandah Suite on its 30-day Incan Empires cruise on the ms Rotterdam. The April 10th cruise is round-trip from San Diego. Verandah Suites start at $4,699, including airfare; inside cabins, from $1,999, airfare extra.

  • Prince Edward Island Teddy-Made for Bears

    The Traveling Teddy has been on a fabulous cruise through New England and Canada aboard the ms Maasdam–boy, some wild adventures! On Prince Edward Island, he met Steve Parsons, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, just as he left the ship in Charlottetown. Traveling Teddy globetrots

    Globespinners Ted with RCMPfor the third-grade class of Meredith Schroeder at St. Joseph Consolidated School in Hamilton, Ohio. The students will name the Teddy when classes resume in fall. Traveling Teddy is a geography outreach program of the Society of American Travel Writers.

    With his new pal Grant MacRae of Prince Edward Island, Ted visited the Anne of Green Gables house and discovered a buggy-full of children, Globespinners Anne of Green Gables

    then went to the PEI Preserve Company and

    tasted some fabulous jams–yum! Percy
